 Kia ora readers

Today we went on summer learning journey. We did kick start. In kick start first we had to watch a time lapse colouring in video. Then we tried the app that we saw in the video. We made a drawing. I tried to match with the orginal picture.

Here is my awesome drawing.

I hope you like my work please comment and have a awesome day.

  1. Kia Ora Rinaz,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

You’ve done such a stellar job on your post! I like yours better than the original because your use of colours really brings the lady combing her hair to life! The greens and blues match quite nicely, and I like that you’ve used a pink comb to contrast these cooler tones.

The lady appears to be wearing a kimono from Japan. They’re such beautiful pieces of clothing with a lot of history behind them! They really symbolise Japan. What are some things that you think symbolise New Zealand? I think pineapple lumps and gumboots do!

Have you considered increasing the size of your text to make it easier to see for your readers? It might entice more people to view your blog!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Hello Rinaz.
I think your picture looks great. It stands out and would good hanging on the wall.
I think I would of preferred it if you did completely different colours. My reason for this is,it would be great to see what colours you'd chose and see where you'd put them.
Have a great holiday and Merry Christmas.
I look forward to seeing more of your holiday learning.

  3. Good evening Rinaz.
I was just checking your blog to see if there was any new SLJ activity that you might have completed.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.
I would love to know about some of the things you have been doing these holidays.
Samantha and I have been to Mini Golf in town and we also went out for a hot chocolate and a piece of cake.
